Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed! My cohort of master's students arrives at the McMaster University campus for our first residency.

Attending an ambulance ride along in Whitehorse. Paramedic Steph (above left) dubbed me "official Yukon EMS baby-holder." As the service's public communications lead, I helped tell the story of Yukon's paramedics.

I was honoured to be awarded Public Relations Student of the Year by the Canadian Public Relations Society's Toronto chapter in 2019.

I was honoured to meet with the Premier of Yukon, Sandy Silver. Premier Silver and I share several passions including education and sustainability.

A gala dinner (full of communicators) at the Hamilton Club. PR has its moments of glamour!

As the public communications lead for the Yukon government's Protective Services division, my work occasionally took me cliffside. Here I am attending a training with firefighters and paramedics. Can you tell I am scared of heights?
I am up to any challenge.
A communications career can take you anywhere. While working in the Yukon, I passed the Special Operations Medical Extrication Team (SOMET) physical exam. That meant a timed run to the top of a mountain carrying one-fifth of our body weight. Afterwards, flanked by Yukon’s fire chief, I climbed into a helicopter for our sunset mountain descent.
